Ethan Crawford (admittedly, one of many) lives and works in Denver, Colorado, where he was conceived, born and bred. Ethan spent most of his adolescence sitting still, watching, learning, writing, occasionally speaking, [and repeat]. He is a perpetual student, and with age he grows into more teaching roles, but will never cease learning about the world and exploring. He enjoys music, philosophy, arts, and other stuff.
Ethan studied broadcast journalism at the University of Colorado at Boulder School of Journalism & Mass Communication and graduated with a BS in 2002. He is currently pursuing a masters degree at the University of Denver Josef Korbel School of International Studies, with an academic focus on international security and information communication technology.
Ethan has worked in Academic Technology since 1999, and currently works as Digital Instruction Specialist at the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work, where he’s like a swiss-army knife of technology: providing audio/video/multimedia production and instructional support for faculty, staff, and students. Ethan also offers services and consulting in photography, multimedia production, field journalism, and webcast production.
Ethan travels extensively (both geographically and around the mind-space continuum), and regularly seeks new and different people, places, and cultures.Ethan speaks Portuguese, Spanish, and English, and is known to converse in a number of technical languages. He can often be found meandering through cyberspace in one virtual environment or another, and he spends a lot of time exploring Denver as well. Even though he’s in grad school, and can be kind of an introvert at times, Ethan enjoys connecting with friends old and new, so if you see him sometime, say hello.
